With extensive experience and a deep understanding of musculoskeletal conditions, pain management, and sports injuries, our team are trained in various modalities such as clinical pilates, massage therapy, dry needling, exercise programs, and strength and conditioning. We pride ourselves on offering personalised care tailored to each individual’s needs, ensuring the highest quality treatment.

With 32 years of consistent physiotherapy practice, Andrew has a special focus on musculoskeletal and pain conditions, working closely with orthopaedic and neurosurgery departments, and aiming to provide community-based education and activity programmes.
With 32 years of experience, Pip specialises in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, biomechanics, muscle balance, postural alignment, and the treatment of persistent pain, employing a bio-psycho-social model of management.
Alexandra specialises in pilates classes, balance classes, massage therapy, dry needling, exercise programs, strength and conditioning, sports injury management, pre and post-surgery rehab, and orthopaedic referrals.
Laura qualified with a Physiotherapy degree in 2011 in the UK and gained experience in the hospitals in Trauma & Orthopaedics, Spinal Injuries, General Medicine, Elderly Care and Musculoskeletal Outpatients.
What should I expect in my first appointment?
You’ll find us at Suite 2, Level 1, 34 Grant Road in the Five Mile shopping centre, above Hello World Travel. When you arrive, there’s plenty of free parking available and both stairs and a lift up to our clinic, making it accessible for everyone.
You’ll be greeted by our friendly staff on the front desk, who will ask you to complete some initial paperwork and new-patient forms if this is your first visit. We recommend that you arrive 10 minutes before your appointment to allow time for this.
To help our team to fully understand your situation and provide you with the most suitable treatment, please bring any extra documentation from your GP, or regarding your ACC-covered injury.
When it’s time for your appointment, you’ll go into one of our private treatment rooms with a physiotherapist.
Initial appointment run for 45 minutes, and consist of:
- Your physiotherapist asking questions to understand your pain, injury or discomfort
- A physical assessment to understand the cause of the issue and help provide a diagnosis
- Treatment and education
- A tailored recovery and prevention plan, with recommendations for further actions
Your physiotherapist will always be happy to talk you through any concerns you have along the way, and can make any adjustments required. If you need a follow-up appointment, we will arrange that for you too.

Are there any after-hours or weekend appointments available for physiotherapy in Queenstown?
Yes, at Move Physio we offer after-hours appointments on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On those days we are open until 7:00pm/7:30pm.
